If you are thinking to purchase or download a computer game then first of all you need to see whether that game will run on your computer. You need to find out if your computer meets the hardware and software requirements which are specified to run that game. One easy way to do this is by visiting the system requirements lab website. System requirements lab analyzes your computer and tells you whether you will be able to run a particular game on your computer.

Select the game which you want below (1) Search for a game or you can also type the name of the game in the search box and it will display it, if the game is in the list. After that click on Can You Run It? button below.
You will be given three options:- Automatic Detection, Desktop App and View requirements.
Automatic Detection:- If you select this option, an active X/Java browser component would be installed which will analyze your computer and give you a report stating whether your computer meets the minimum or recommended requirements to run the game or if it does not meet any. This option requires java to be installed on your computer and you must give permission to allow system requirements lab to run java.
Desktop App:- If you select this option, you have to download a small file Detection on your computer. After you open the file, it will start to analyze your computer and then exit. It will show a report on the website (make sure that you do not close the browser) stating whether your computer meets the minimum or recommended requirements to run the game or if it does not meet any.
View Requirements:- By selecting this option you can simply view the minimum and recommended requirements to run the game. For this you need to know the specifications of your computer and then compare them with the requirements and see if your computer meets the minimum or recommended requirements to run the game or if it does not meet any.
You can use any of the three options and find out if your computer can run a particular game before buying or downloading it.
